Coughing And Pain In The Lower Back- Possible Causes And What To Do

Normally when there is coughing and pain in the lower back that are not actually related in the sense that the coughing is the cause or the pain in the lower back is the cause of the coughing and pain in the lower back. In actuality, it is more likely that the cause of coughing and pain in the lower back is merely sympathetic. In other words, coughing causes the muscles in the lower back to react as the muscles in the rest of the body do. The harder the coughing the more likely it is for the pain in the lower back to be worse.

Of course, even a mild cough can sometimes set off pain in the lower back this comes from spasming muscles. It may be the result of a weakened muscle or a strain.
