Reasons Why There Is Back Pain In Children

We do not usually associate back pain with children since we may all think that it is too early for them to have arthritis at the back or other possible causes thinking that they are too young to be affected by it. But, recent study shows that there have been many reasons associated with back pain in children and these causes could really post a danger on the childĄ¯s well being.

Here are some of the reasons why some children are experiencing back pain and please, if your child is saying that he or she is having their share of back pain, investigate and go to your doctor to know what preventive measures and cures you could have.

It has been researched that ten to twenty-five percent of the children at school are having back pains that are disturbing enough to distract them from school. One of the top reasons why there are some children who are having back pains is because of poor seating which was brought about by poor plastic chairs. Mostly, these plastic school chairs are not ergonomically designed to aid you to sit properly and have good posture and also, static postures that you do less movement during class could increase the chance of children having back pain.

Horizontal tables are also one of the top reasons why children are having back pains because of the wrong height of the tables. Those who have long backs are more susceptible because they are forced to adopt a poor sitting position or poor posture to be comfortable. Another is that they may carry too heavy books for their body that the backs of the children are suffering. Forcing your body to carry loads which may be too heavy for your body will let you adapt a posture and pressure to your back that is inappropriate.

Lastly, according to studies, making the top reasons why children are having back pains is because of inadequate exercise. It is possible that because of the lack of opportunities to do physical activities because of television, video games, and increased use of the computer may lead to back pain. Help and encourage your child avoid these things and discourage a sedentary type of a lifestyle. Urge him or her to come to the gym with you once in a while to help them be more physically active to stay strong and healthy.
