A Couple Of Simple Exercises For Low Back Pain That Should Provide Immediate Relief

Those of you who tend to slouch will generally be more at risk of experiencing low back pain and this is something that can affect a great number of people because they may be working at desks and also sitting in a slouched position in front of their computers for as many as forty hours per week. Thus, it may not come as a big surprise to learn that more and more people are reporting having low back pain.

Slouching Is The Main Culprit

There is little doubt that slouching contributes immensely to the problem, though the exact cause for low back pain has not actually been found. Trying out a few simple exercises for low back pain should help relieve the symptoms and most of them can be done anywhere and at any time. Using one or more of this exercise for low back pain one should notice immediate relief which is most welcome to sufferers of low back pain.

The low back pain comes about due to excessive flexion, which means that you will need to perform an exercise for low back pain that will move the pain in an opposite direction such as an extension exercise to get relief. For example, you could start off with your feet spread apart and then place your hands on the lower back with fingers pointing down. You can then bend your waist back and down as far as you can and stay in that position for about five seconds and repeat this exercise for low back pain again and again.

With so simple an exercise for low back pain that is performed at your convenience during the day you should notice the pain having gone away, and not returning even after having sat at your desk for considerable lengths of time.

You can also try out a different exercise for low back pain in which you can lie on your stomach and with your elbows begin to slowly raise you while arching your back. In this exercise for low back pain you will need to keep your hips on the floor as also need to relax the lower back while holding the position for about half a minute. Then, you can repeat until you are able to hold the position for five minutes.

Of course, if you are one of those people that are not inclined to perform exercises for your low back pain you may have to resort to your grandma¡¯s old remedy and simply refrain from slouching altogether.
